Manage backup jobs (purge old backups)
Recent Backup Jobs on MigraSync → WP Backup is your backup history — manual and auto runs, sizes, retention, and status.
Switch between Recent Backup Jobs and Saved Schedule tabs at the bottom of the page.
What you see

Purge selected backups
To free Managed Cloud quota or remove old points you no longer need:
- Check one or more rows.
- Click Purge selected.
- Read the warning — purging deletes files from this site and MigraSync Managed Cloud. This cannot be undone.
- Consent: “I consent to permanently purge the selected backups.”
- Click Purge backups and wait for progress to finish.
Purging does not affect your auto schedule — only the selected job artifacts.
Retention vs manual purge
- Auto purge policy on schedules and manual backups expires old points automatically.
- Purge selected removes specific jobs immediately — useful before an upgrade or when quota warnings appear.
Downloading backup files
The Recent Backup Jobs table is focused on inventory and purge. To recover a site, use WP Restore with a completed cloud backup — that is the supported restore path.
For backup failures, expand Backup debug log (if shown) and use Download log when contacting support.
