Generate SEO 301 redirects after Blogger migration
Blogger URLs often differ from WordPress permalinks. MigraSync captures URL pairs during migration; you generate live 301 redirects afterward.
Why it matters
Without redirects, old Blogspot links and Google results can 404. Redirects send visitors and search engines to the right WordPress pages.
Steps
- Finish (or substantially complete) a Blogger migration so URLs are captured.
- Open MigraSync → SEO 301 Redirects (SEO 301 Redirect Manager).
- Review Captured vs Live counts and quota.
- Click Start SEO 301 Redirect.
- Watch the progress bar; refresh the mappings table when done.
What to expect
- Rows show old Blogger URL, new WordPress URL, status, and hit count.
- Use View to open the old URL in a new tab and confirm the redirect.
- Package quotas may limit how many live redirects you can create.
- If WordPress already uses Blogger-style post permalinks, some post redirects may be skipped automatically.
